Bimetallic dial thermometers are used to measure the temperature of liquids, gases and vapors in pipe systems and machines. The measuring principle of bimetallic thermometers is based on the fact that solid bodies (metals) expand to different extents when the temperature changes. Bimetallic thermometers essentially consist of a spiral strip of sheet metal rolled tightly on top of each other with the greatest possible variation in thermal expansion. When the temperature changes, the spiral curves and moves the pointer that is firmly connected to it.
We offer bimetal thermometers in various connection options and designs. Both standard and industrial versions with axial and radial immersion outlet (or 90° swivel). Furthermore, models specifically for heating systems and air ducts are available.

Gas pressure (inert gas) dial thermometers are used to measure the temperature of liquids, gases and vapors, even under difficult conditions. The probes of gas pressure dial thermometers are filled with a noble gas (inert gas) and operate according to the expansion principle. The temperature is measured via the expansion and thus pressure change of the enclosed noble gas in the probe. A change in temperature increases or decreases the system pressure, which can then be read on the scale via a Bourdon tube measuring system.
