Description
LR-Cal DFP description
This device is ideal for testing and calibrating pressure gauges, e.g. on hydraulic presses and other force and weight indicators.
The LR-Cal DFP digital reference gauge features outstanding long-term stability, a 16-bit A/D converter and modern microprocessor control. It is ideal for reference pressure measurements, as well as testing and calibration tasks, especially also for force gauges and pressure gauges with scaling in one weight unit.
The battery-operated LR-Cal DFP works for more than a year without changing the batteries, not least because of the intelligent automatic switch-off function (switch-off occurs when no pressure change has been measured for approx. 30 minutes).
The user can freely scale own display units, e.g. force in Newton or weight in kg or tons. The LR-Cal DFP is delivered calibrated in "bar", like a normal pressure gauge. The operator can assign a unit of force or weight to the full scale value of the LR-Cal DFP, to be calculated for hydraulic cylinders according to the following formula:
Force:
F[N] = P • D2 • ∏ / 40
P = pressure in bar
D = diameter of the cylinder in mm
∏ = pi
Weight:
F[kg] = F[N] / 9,80665
F = force
N = Newton from above formular
kg = Kilogramm
9,80665 = local gravity m/s² (standard acceleration)
Optionally the digital reference pressure gauge LR-Cal DFP can be delivered with a RS232 interface. Furthermore, a serial connection cable to your PC as well as a small demo software (English) for reading out the RS232 interface are optionally available, see DOWNLOAD button.
Furthermore, the LR-Cal DFP can be supplied in a version for panel mounting (pressure connection axially at the rear), as well as for a voltage supply via a 230 VAC plug-in power supply unit (instead of battery operation).
